June 15^th/18

Dear Mother:-

Just a card today. Rec’d no letters from home this week. I did have good luck the week before received eight altogether but we can’t expect letters that way all the time

Well mother I shall be twenty-three this week. I can’t hardly believe I was only nineteen when I left home but let us hope it won’t be too long before I get back or it will seriously effect my future career

I am real well at present I hope everything is going well at home
