ANOTHER MESSAGE FROM FRONT

Percy Brown, now with the First Canadian contingent at the front, writes as follows to his sister Edith, the post card being dated from France, March 18;

Have landed safely in France and am billeted just behind the fixing line. I can see star shells at night and hear the guns all the time. I expect to go in the trenches tonight. It's quite safe here, the boys say, as long as you keep your nut down. The Gordons have had no casualties yet, but the Seaforths have. The boys are all in good spirits and are doing good work.
