McNABB - In proud and loving memory of Pte. Wm. J. McNabb, No. 838147, 1st Bn., C.M.G. Corps who was killed in action in France one year ago today, October 1st, 1918.

The hardest part has come;
The heroes have returned
And we miss from the noble throng
The face of our dear one.

May the heavenly winds blow softly,
O'er that sweet and hallowed spot;
Though the sea divide his grave
From us he will never be forgot.
