Dear Ona and Levi, -

Just a line to let you know I am well. I have not got a letter from you for two weeks so I thought I would drop you a line. I did not get a letter from mother this week yet. I got a letters from Aunt Maggie London and Uncle Sol. on the 27th of Dec. Uncle Sol. put in a small picture of Dad he had takes a few days before he wrote to me. You told me you were going to send me a parcel well I have not received it up to date. Also I wrote to you to send me the Dunnville Chronicles. I have not received any parcels yet from the Church or Red Cross.

The mail has not been around to day yet and there may be some for me in it. They got a poor way of giving mail out here. The letters I received form Uncle Sol & Aunt Maggie London took 28 days for the return trip. from the time I wrote. I wrote it on the 30th of Nov. and received a answer on the 28th of Dec. so it went on a fast journey. O.K. I suppose you had a Merry Xmas as I had one. We had a fine dinner on Xmas. and I hear we will have a good Dinner to-morrow. New Years. I have wrote to Ethel severel times but up to date I have not received an answer. But perhaps there is one on the road here. I am still here in England. Some of Old "B Company" are over in France now and don't know when I will be there. The weather here is mild. The ground is not frozen over and with rain most every day it is certinly muddy. As to war new(s) you know about as much as we do in your papers __ they give me a good account of it. I am also writing Home to day also answers to Aunt Maggie London's and Uncle Sol's letters that I received. Well I did not get any more passes and don't expect any now, but one to go over the channel to France. The mail was just called out but none for me.
