Sunday 6th/Aug 1916. Dear mother. Thank you very much for your Parcels, 7 I got your July 11th letter. the Parcels were damaged quite a bit, they dont come good without they are in Boxes. I am getting along pretty good, I got your two Books thanks very much for them. it helps to pass the time fine, that & knitting. your loving Son Tommy.
