Camp, Good Friday, April 21/16 Dear Mother, just a line. We are going down to Portmouth for the weekend and I won't write until Monday or Tuesday. This is a lovely day, we had church this a.m. We are going down to Haslemers this p.m. to get a square meal and some Hot Cross Buns. Another draft left for France yesterday from our battalion. I hope all are well & happy. Will write a big letter so cheer up. Norm
