Dear Madam.

I beg to inform you that Cpl A.W. Mayse No 291,494 Batt 1st C.M.R. Sast Regt who is now at 1st Scottish General Hospital Oldmill Aberdeen Scotland was visited by our authorized representative who states that he is making satisfactory progress. Both legs are rather stiff & he had difficulty in bending the knees well. He is able to walk a considerable distance. He has been out walking & motoring every day lately and he expects to leave the Hospital very soon.
