Dear Bruce:-

I received your letter the other day with the snaps which I will not return. Send me some more. These last two days it has been raining all the time we went trench digging but it was too wet so we have been lying in our tent. To-day it was so windy our tent blew down in the rain this is some life. To-day was also pay day but I didn't draw any as I over drew to go on my leave. Well there isn't much more today so I will close

So long Jay.
