Dear Friends

Your kind parcel to hand with great thanks to which I wish to express my heartfelt desire that you may all have a Happy, bright, and prosperous New Year, and many of them.

I am sure it entails a great deal of work, and labour in the very many numerous parcels, that I feel sure, you have sent to each one of your Soldier members, and I trust that some day I shall be able if I am spared to return, to assist you all in some class of work that you may so desire, for the benifit of the church.

I expect to be ordered to France within the next Fortnight to do what lies in my power, for the purpose I hope in causing and helping the war to a speedy conclusion.

Thanking you one and all once again for your kindness.

I Remain
Yours Sincerely
B.B. Rickards.
