My dear Bill,-

I was so glad to get your nice letter when into Red Cross yesterday. I cannot tell you what a comfort it is to us - to hear from you so often -Am so glad that the mosquitoes to not bother you - They are awful here - You must be very tired at night, and I do hope that you will not get cold with all those (?) cloths on. It makes one feel so miserable - I will gladly send you some sock - will send them soon & some eats. We have had so much rain here, every thing is mud - John took Ford to camp this A.M. to sloppy for "Thor" - Will likely be back to night - Papa is not feel very good - but will be alright soon, and I will be glad. It is dreary when he is sick - Now I must (?) dear. I have a lot to do to day. Alice only turned up one day this week - Have written to Kamloops to see if I can get help there - Am not going to try to do my work any longer - Am getting old & must take life easier if I can. Papa will just have to do with some other bodies cooking after this - Good bye my dear with love & hugs from Your loving

Mamma
