Hello Ann

I just have time to start a letter but I won't go far as our friend Metcalf just sent me a card to say that there was a letter waiting for me to call.

We are getting it good and hard from morning until night, getting fit, disciplined. Will be here only a short time. So please send mail to Metcalf as before. The country is very beautiful this time of year & we are not having much fun, but that's about all I can say as they are very strict & watch everything.

Did Eloise come down after I left? But I had better cut this out & get in to deliver 8:15 pm? I am up at 6 am.

I think I had better send this off as it may be a day or so before I can get your letter & I believe a Canadian & American boat sails very soon.
Give my best to Skip & tell him if I see him again I will have lots to interest him. You too Sis, everything is going O.K. so far. You would be very proud of England if you could see how the navy trains.

With lots of love Pete
