'CARD OF THANKS'

Mrs. Jack Earle, whose son, Private George Earle, was the first from Cobourg to lay down his life in defenses of the Empire, has received so many kind letters of sympathy, that she finds it impossible to answer them, and wishes to thank all friends through The World for their great kindness. He was only 21 years of age.
