Keeping Warm The Feet that Guard the Empire's Line.

Lt-Col Rev, Wm, Beattie writes the Cobourg Women's Patriotic Corps as follows:

'I have been receiving lots of fine parcels for the boys, among which is one or more marked 'Women's Patriotic Corps, Cobourg.' I have no name to go upon, but that does not prevent me from writing to tell you that the gifts will be well used, and will help keep warm the feet of these fine fellows, who by night and day stand on the outposts of Empire and guard the line.
Yours gratefully,
W, BEATTIE, Lt-Col.
