Was hauling manure today got a letter from mamma today dated Oct 2nd. Had my hair cut tonight

26 Thursday

Was out riding with my mules.

27 Friday

Cleaning my harness this morning. Went for a ride by myself this afternoon on my mule. Got a letter from Mother tonight.
