Rec your letter to-nig..... and was glad to hear, ..... it certanly does ma..... fill a little better to ..... letter from home you ..... aught to see the [?] .....
There is at 6 o'clock [?] ..... mail comes here. Th..... first I have got y..... What is Miss McLeods first name and I will write to her. [?] [?] I will write to him too and mrs peet.
The pictures are no good. did you get the Big one yet you want to write to him just wake him up once in a while. I like it fine down here. Harry [?] and I got our stripes day before yesterday [?] after this But Corpl. insted of pte. I am Battalion orderly Corpl. .....were away to Queens..... on a Route March. 207 .....we passed it on the ..... say we came through ..... I Think it was just ..... we came to Welland ..... Jack Gamble was taken to the Hospital to-night I Think he has the feaver but dont tell any one up there or Mrs Jarrell would have a fit for fear Jack would get it he was sick before we came down he didn't [?] any after we got here well I guess This is enough.
