Dear Mrs Richardson
Grenfell

We visited your sons grave today and found it in Leivin Cemetery just west of a very large French cemetery it has 780 Canadians boys graves the cemetery is situated in the ege of the town in fact Lievin and Lens connect together its on a high hill looking westwards a very beautiful spot the men were still preparing it for flowers trees etc. My son daughter Ellen Mrs Banbury and I placed a wreath on his grave and took some snaps of the grave and if they turn out all right will send them to you after we get home. I will describe the cemetery more fully when I see

Kind regards to all at home
Yours truly
Ed Banbury
