Dear Dad

How's your liver? Why don't you write to me haven't heard from you for a long time. At present I am residing at 18 Spencer St Carlisle Cumberland England. Have just finished tea, am having an awful time with Jessie and Janet, trying to keep them out of mischief. I had a whale of a time in London, saw all the shows, [?] - a bunch from Ottawa, spent a lot of money. Had a rotten journey coming from London had to sit up all night in one of these English trains. However, I have been putting in my time catching up with my sleep Have had breakfast in bed every morning. We saw a movie the other night - it was some show believe me. I have bought the women at home a bunch of stuff here - I am sending you a heart full of love from

Your Adoring Son
