Dear Father:

Received your letter a few days ago with Jessies and another from Jessie today also one from Sadie you and Jess must be alone quite a lot. we are working Pretty hard we got the big English boots this week and they are some boots they have enough iron on them to shoe a horse Pretty stiff at first by the leather is soft. I am going up to Witley tomorrow. I went out and got a wheel. Tonight I hope you people are all over [?] supper. I got the chocolates Gower sent and I know how to thank you

had from home. You never told me about John's and Cads boy. another soldier how do you feel since being Grandfather I hope you don't feel any older. I had a letter from Kin a few days he said he had'nt heard from home since he was over. N.Y. well I have to go on guard from 8 to 10 tonight well I will write Jessie a line so will close for now. with Lots of Love to all
