Dearest Jessie:

Just a few lines I got your letter last night. funny you have not been getting my letters because I write every week but I am late this week we just came out of the line yesterday a.m.

we sure had quite a busy trip and a hard one. we were over the top twice drove the [?] back quite a long way. there was lots of mud we were covered when we came out I haven't got cleaned up yet I would like to see Aunt Mary. you can remember me to her. I haven't heard from Ken for quite a while how is he getting alonf. how is [?] [?] this summer remember me to her also.

very sad about Mrs Alex Logan. the boys felt pretty bad. well Jess I must close. I would like to have a drive in that (Grey-Dart) but I guess I will have to wait till next summer.
