Dearest Father,

Just a few lines this afternoon as I have not written for some days. I can not think of much to write I have not had a letter from you for a week or so. The mail seems to be helled up some place. Well what do you think of the war now. I was up to Orderly Room to see if I could get a transfer to the Flying Corps. I don't know whether I can get it or not. Capt Clark spoke to the Colonel about it and he thought I would get it from the Batt O.K. Capt Clark is going back Home very soon. I will write you again soon. Bye bye.

Lots of Love to all
Aff Son Don
