Dearest

Just a card to let you know we arrived at Folkstone alright. Not staying here very long, we embark in half an hour.

My cousin met me at Kings X last night & I stayed the night with them. Fortunately there was no raid. Everything will be alright about my taking an extra day. I wish now that I had stayed another day. I am not feeling very cheerful, but no doubt I shall be a little better after a while. Will write soon.
