Mrs. Wanda Gill, veteran of fourteen years' service with the Victoria Machinery Depot, smiles for the cameraman at the launching of the 10,000-ton tanker, Clearwater Park, which she sponsored. Better known to the readers of the Convoy as Wanda Spencer, writer of the “Upper Deck” column, Mrs. Gill was secretary for Mr. Anderson, Shipyard Comptroller, while employed here. Popular and efficient, her departure was deeply regretted by her associates when she left to get married a few short months ago.
