Dear Madam,
In reply to your inquiry of 29th October 1916, I have to say that Lance Corporal T. Garton is buried at Puchevillers British Cemetery, North West of Albert. The grave has been registered in this office, and is marked by a durable wooden cross with an inscription bearing his name, rank and regiment, and the date of his death. A photograph of the grave will be taken as soon as possible, and a copy sent to you. I regret I am unable to give you any further information.
Yours faithfully,
