Letter
Springside, Sask.
May 2, 1945.
Dear Eira,-
Dad and I wish to thank you for the sympathy extended to us in the passing of Leonard. It was very thoughtful of you.
We are carrying on as usual, at least trying to, to-day I received a letter from the Dept. of National Defence saying that Hughie is presumed to be dead, so we haven’t very much to be happy over.
Again thanking you for the flowers.
Sincerely
Eunice.
