My Darling Sister,

Here it is Wednesday again, and not a scratch from home. I don’t think I have had any Canadian mail this month but may have the first three days, except a letter from Mae which had been two months coming. It was addressed 10th C.A.M.C. as was Merles parcel, which also arrived to-day. It had been to the Records Office, but was in good shape being wrapped in wax paper. I used to put my return address as 10th C.A.M.C. on the back of my envelopes, but the stamp I have now is O.K.

I have heard that from now on, there will be only one mail a month from Canada. I hope it is not true, but I am beginning to believe that it is correct. I think tho that the mail to Canada will be the same as usual.

Say there is something I want you and Miss Stover to do. Collect all the stamps you can for me. I don’t care what country, Can., U.S, Eng, etc. nor what denomination, but don’t let a used stamp get away from the house or store. You should have thousands when I return, and I want them all. Miss S. can also cut the ones off cardboard mailing boxes. Just put them in boxes and I will soak them off when I return.

I am getting along fine with my night work. My sick man is still alive, but very low. I get plenty of sleep and down town three or four afternoons a week. You see days I don’t go down town, I get from 7.15 or 7.30 till 5.30 or 6, at least ten hours sleep, which is more than I ever get when on days. Had to get up for pay parade at 2 P.M. to-day. I put my clothes on over my pyjamas, dressed at 1.30 and was asleep again by 2.20. That is going some. Corp. Andrews who was in charge nights, has been moved up to Eastbourne and I will miss him.

One of the nurses now here, nursed E.C. Jackson that time he was so sick, Sister Keane. She is very nice, but I don’t have one on at night at all. Hard luck Eh?

Do you ever see Jean Ford? I wrote her last night, think she is at home now, altho she was working in Toronto and also for the A.P.K in Schreiber.

Ault and Rodney were over to see me for a little while Tuesday Eve. They both seem well and as disgusted as everybody with the Army.

Must write Merle.

Lovingly,
Worth.
