Dear Dad,

The first of a Canadian mail to-day, brought yours of Feby 2nd and one from Mother, posted a few days previously. I am sorry to hear you have been under the weather again, but glad you had Frank. What on earth is he doing that he could get away for two weeks?

As you see, I am still in France, have had no further news re going to Blighty. Three of the other boys have gone. Their applications went in since mine, but their case was covered by a regular order which came thro, re University students.

We are having some spell of rainy weather, but I go out just the same. If you let the rain keep you home here, you wouldn’t get out much. I still have a little cold, but it doesn’t bother me at all.

Agreeably surprised to hear about Gordon Dewey.

Some time ago you were speaking of getting a new car in the spring. If you are contemplating a change of make, don’t get any of the smaller, or rather lighter cars except the Dodge. Since coming overseas I have seen enough to prove to me, that it and the Studebaker are the only two of the cheaper cars that will stand up. Both these cars are being used in France by the armies and the only other (cheaper) car I see used is the Ford. Even the Overland I have not seen and the Maxwell and Chevrolet are out of the question. No doubt tho you have seen enough of all these cars to know by now. The Cadillac is very extensively used, especially by the Canadians and seems to be a great favourite, but I think it is a heavier car than you would ever use.

I surely hope you are free from the blooming asthma by this time, and back to business again.

Love to all,
Your affectionate son,
Worth.
