Rev. 5:30 a.m. - All except 50 men, 48 horses and some 1st line & D.A.C. waggons left to entrain for somewhere else about 9:00 a.m. Remainder put in tents - 10 to a tent. No parades except stables. Are kept within confines of camp - no passes. Havre, they say is a large place - largest Eng. base. Eng. own much rolling stock here now and ¾ of all the docks. Main street - the Boulevard de Straseburg is wide, pleasant street with four car tracks on it. I saw the Boulevard de Francois - another fine street. Havre - the port of Paris. Bread here is whiter and much better than in Eng.
