Dear Mother:-

Rec’d no letters this week. Rec’d private parcel from home many thanks.

I was somewhat surprised to learn of Roy’s marriage I guess all of my chums will be married before I return but as for matrimony I have plenty of time

I suppose Harry is very busy farming. Ask him if he would like for me to help him? not much hopes I guess.

Alma will soon be coming home again for her vacation I wish I could have mine I think I deserve one

I am real well at present Hope papa takes good care of himself
