My darling girl

Yours, Frank's & Gwlady's letters to hand yesterday. We made a move this A.M. of a few kilos. You certainly were a dandy not having visited your Aunt M ary before this, remember me to her also if you should happen to see Miss Dora Lloyd that used to be. Saw some of the 2nd Battn yesterday, Dick has not yet got back to them, saw Jack Pickard of Miniota, he is still shoe maker Supt, had quite a long chat with him. Saw a German plane brought down yesterday. Well sweetheart things look pretty promising out here now. Bye the bye dearie that toffee you sent in that parcel was certainly delicious about the best I ever tasted. When you send my wrist watch you might also send me a wrist strap as I have lost the other one.

I certainly had a good laugh when you described Eric's little prank in the gutter. I guess he has a pretty good time running around there.

Fondest love to you & bairns.

Your loving,

Jim
