My dear little lady,

Thanks so much indeed for the S.E.P. It was very sweet of you to send it & excuse my rudeness in not having written before. I did come round to see if you were still around the extension, I saw very few of my old friends I’m sorry to say. I met Ms. Saudon one day in Town when I was up from home but only for a few minutes. This is the last place on earth & I’m fed up with it & wish I were back in Leeds again much more fun. Drop me a line when you have time or care to.
