LETTERS FROM MEN AT THE FRONT.

Driver Comrie Writes. (FROM FRANCE)

Tuesday January 4th, 1916.

Dear Father:
Excuse me for not writing for I was wounded on August 29th, and got all right again and returned to the front. I am all right now so don't worry. We are having a very mild winter and enjoying a quiet time at present. I had a very good Christmas and hope to have the next with you all. I expect you know I am single yet but I will find a wife when I come home. Tell all the folks that I send them my best wishes for this year and hope to have a bit of a time when we all meet again. Wishing you and all a happy New Year, I remain,
Your loving son,
WILLIAM COMRIE.
