LETTERS FROM THE FRONT.

Pte. James M. Beatty writes. Mr. Matthew Brown, ft., received a post card from the firing line in France from Pte. James Beatty, who we are pleased to know, is well. Pte Beatty says:

August 8, 1915.

Dear Matt:
Received your card. I am glad to know that I am not forgotten by you. Suppose 'Bones' Aitchison tells you all about the war. I am well. I do not know when we will get home. I hope it won't be long. Remember me to all the boys.
Yours truly.
JAMES M. BEATTY.
