Dear Father and Mother-
Just a few lines in answer to your ever welcome letter which I have just received to-day. Well Mother both my wife and myself are in the very best of health but we have had a good little bit of sadness handed to us since yesterday morning

Our little baby died yesterday morning at about 10:30 am. I can certainly understand how you & Dad feel about Herb and Art as one never knows what death is until they lose one of their own. It is certain to be a big loss to us as she was getting along so nicely & she was getting to know a few things.

We do not know what she has died from but I expect the inquest will be tomorrow & I shall write again & let you know what she died from.

Well Mother tell Dad I am very very sorry for anything I have said to him that would hurt his feelings.

I don't feel up to writing just now so I must close.

With love to all
From Norman and May

I shall go up later in the week & see about Herb's photo or at least the photo of his grave.
Love to all from us both
