Diary

Up about 9 o'clock. Clean up and inspection today.
Work party at night. Nearly all of the Bn. out. I had No. 3 Platoon. Left at 7:30, got to work about 8:45, worked until 12:30 and walked home about four miles, got to bed after 2.
Nice day - good night for working - No shelling close by.
