Up early. Ordered to reconnoitre old trench line. Walked for four hours with three other officers and four Sgts. Saw old 1915 line before LENS or HILL 70 Shows. Saw many old French relics. Some old German posts of interest also. Returned to BULLY GAENAY about 3 o'clock. Had a real good bath at 7:30. Old Frenchman assisted (?). Played Bridge with Pat Andrews, Young, and Brownlee.
