I must just put a little message in Alice's note to you - to say I'm so glad to have her here - for a visit - & get to know something more of my Canadian niece in law - She seems happy to be here & I hope she will have a good time amongst the scenes & associations of her husband's birthplace and childhood - I will take great care of her - so make your mind easy about her - very glad indeed to hear you are getting on, so far well - We are indeed in a crisis time - but our men are doing so splendidly all the world over - love from [?] Good luck to you.
