Dear Sister

Just A few Lines to Let you know I am well and having A fine trip. I Left Ottawa the 17 of June and was two days on the train. Reached Halifax on Monday And went right on Board the Boat We set sail Tuesday morning And we expect to reach England tomorrow night I has been Lovely weather on the sea. I havent been sea sick at all And eat Like A horse. The Empress of Britain has been with us all the way and one Battle cruiser, we have 3000 and [page damaged] soldiers on Board

Tuesday Morning June 28th
Well I have been on guard all night and every thing went well. I sighted Land About 4 oclock this morning We are sailing up the channel between Ireland and Scotland. We can see Land on both side now. Will reach port About 6 P.M. How are all the Folks out there write And tell me all the news. I will write some more when I reach port.
