My Dear Sister -

Just a line to say I am getting on splendidly I would not be surprised if I got my sick leave in about a month's time. It is likely I will be in France again by fall, I hope you will forgive me when I admit that I had to read your letter through before I knew whose photo it was you had sent me. I could see it was you alright though when I took a good look at it. You are not my little sister any more now. You must be about as tall as I am, and I think you are looking fine too. I hope you are feeling as well as you look. Our camp is close to London, so I take an occasional trip there for to see the sights. St present we are having fine warm weather that is, when it does not rain. It is raining hard all day today. Yesterday is the first sunday it has not rained all day since I came here. Even then we had a shower. Not a very pleasant country for lover, Eh? I wish I knew if you received the letter I wrote on Apr. 2nd please let me know if you did. It contained photos and a letter. Please keep them as souvenirs if you get them O.K. Well Olga news is nearly as scarce here as it used to be while in France. Give my love to all at home. I'll close now and hope to hear from you often.

Your Loving
Don.
