I hope you will accept the enclosed photo as a token of my great sympathy for you all in your great loss. I nursed your son almost the whole time he was with us & was the first to receive him into the ward. He was a dear boy & so patient & we soon became great friends.

The photo is an enlargement from a small snapshot I took last summer & the sister standing by was in charge of the ward.
