Dear Sister,
Received a few letters from you lately all dates from September up. I am getting on not so bad. I have been up 3 weeks or so but cannot walk yet without crutches. I had a very nice time all day Xmas. I got lots of presents and all the parcels which you have sent. I am going back to the Front if the war don't end soon. I have 3 months more yet and then some but I will get totally better again. I haven't got very much to say but I hope you had a very pleasant time at Xmas as I did.
