My dear Grannie:

I just received a long letter from you written on Oct 19th so you can see how long it takes to get here. You sent it to Mr Metcalf, London and forgot to put in the 56 Alder. However I got it O.K.

I have only had one letter from Uncle Will so far I will write to him again in a day or so. I hope he is getting along all right. Yes, you can give him my coat and there should also be a couple of suits of mine which will be no good to me at least for a couple of years and he may as well have them also. You might tell Fern to send him something from me at Christmas if you get this in time. I had a letter form Cox & Co saying that they had forwarded some money to N.F.Co. for me. Dad can draw it out any time.

I was up for another flip yesterday morning in devil of a wind and had quite a time getting down, however I managed to without breaking anything. I was to leave here at five o'clock this morning for another 'drome to fly a bus back but the wind had not gone down so I did not go. The wind is so strong that there has been no flying for two days as the wind is right from the east and flows up over the lines which isn't very nice. I went for a long walk this morning with a chap called Fairclough from Rosedale. He says he knows Max.

Kathleen mentioned "Spike" Nesta's beau. I think that is the chap I roomed with at the Pool wasn't it. Wait was his name I think.

Just had lunch. Jolly good too. We have very good meals here; quite a formal dinner at night. I have not heard from Max yet and am writing him again to-day. I am glad to hear that Kathleen is getting along so good with the car. I hope you are all taking good care of yourself. We get two weeks leave every three months, mine is due at the first of February and after six months out here we get four months home establishment and I would try to get a job in Canada on that so that I may be able to saving it so as to be back around May or so. However that is looking a little far ahead.

I suppose you will be getting this just about Christmas. I expect to have moved from here before then and be back near to where I was at the Pool.

Well I think four pages is pretty good for to-day so

Love to all

Gord

P.S. Tell Dad to take care of himself and not go back to the office too soon.
