Dear Mother
Just a line to say I am will how are you and John keeping I wish home with you it worry me a lot what did you leave that man for have you made a mistake its to bad. this is sunday afternoon. I was at church this morning and the chaplin asked me to go and see him some night. but the town he lives in is a long way from where I am and its to far for me to go. he made quite a friend of me when he found out I worked for the West Canada Pub Co. its to bad he ant atached to our Div or I may have a good friend but you see we move from place to place we only stay in one place for about six weeks that is if they keep us in one place we would get tired of it that is why they move us
I have no news for you only its awful cold out here it is the coldest winter thay had for 22 years it was 8 below two or three mornings and I tell you when you have to go out in that kind of weather it sure is hell. but I am liveing in a farm house with some Franch peaple or I dont know what I would do.
We are not in Action and the officers bought us a gramo-phone there is 12 of us in this house and we have a pretty good time.
Well I think I will have to close for this time hopeing you are settled by this time.
I remain your Loven Son
Owen
