NEWFOUNDLAND

Dear Mrs. Murphy:-
I regret to have to inform you that a report has this day been received from the Record Office of the Royal Newfoundland Regiment, Long, to the effect that No. 754, L/Cpl. Michael Murphy is still seriously ill but improving May 13th.

I trust that later reports will bring news of his convalescence.
Any further information received at this Office as to his condition will be at once notified to you.
