Dear Alice,

Your letter of April 7th 1918 arrived today and was very pleased to here from you. I have not got time to say much just now so I'll only write a few lines, so you will get your answers to your letter.
Well, then you have only received one letter from me since I have been here. I know I have written several to you and when I was in the C.C.S. I sent you a field card, so I think you ought to have a heart and not wait until I have written a few times, but keep on writing. You know I have quite a lot to do this days this is a Convalescent Camp I am in now and its not like Hylands Hospital. That was a home compared to this. You know one's got to make the best of things, well I have been inoculated to-day and don't feel very much like writing so you missed me at the pink this [?]...if not for all the skates I gave you [?] Never mind [?] coming by the way, I would very much like to have a snap of you, remember me to all at St. Mary's and give my Kindest Regards to all at home.

Yours Sincerely
W.A. Veniez

will be writing soon.
