Dear Mother

Just a few line to let you know how I am getting on. Everything around here is just about the same as usual. I have had the grippe for the last 2 days I went to bed Sunday after noon and got up to-day. I was taken to what they call the Hospital on the floor below all they all they do is take you down and give you a bunk like the one you leave. I got two pills and a glass of lemonade. I am feeling pretty good now so I'm glad to get away from the Hospital pole [?] is in their with Limbago. He is no better yet. There are a big bunch of soldiers coming in here today. Some of our battalion had orders to leave but they were canceled. I guess we will leave in a couple of days now. How did the pictures turn out. I mean the ones Hannah took at the train. Well I guess this will be all at present so I will close. Hoping to hear from you soon.

Your loving Son

John

Dont worry about me I am alright now. I hope I get a letter before we leave hear

John.
