Dear Mother-

Just a few lines hoping that they find you all well at home. I'm getting along fine and enjoying myself with nothing much to do in the way of real soldiering just now. Well Mother dear, I have your last letter 5-5-18, and looking forward to some more Canadian mail coming along soon, and the parcel you mentioned, along with it. I'll let you know all right, when it comes. I should soon get a letter from Starston. The last I got, Aunt Jessie was improving. I suppose the nice weather they were getting would help a lot. I don't hear so often from them. They will miss the boys a lot, I guess. Hugh was home from Ireland not long ago. Don't know whether he will come back here or not. Almost as well, from the doings on Erin's Isle at present, eh? Well, I must close for the present, with love to all, your loving Son,

Frank.
