Dear friends it seems so long since we have seen you that I thought best to write you a few lines we have had so mutch company all winter up to lately that Mary got no where+ I have been driving the rural mail since the 4 of this month+ I dont know how long I may have to as Mr Lamie the old mail man is sick+ in bed yet Well how are you all especialy Edith ha ha no offence I wish she was here we would never be lonesome I see by the paper that Elba philips is married we had Grace+ her little girl here for three months we miss her as she was all life they left on the 7 of this month+ would get home last Tuesday+ Carry Mellis is going away in the morning for the west+ hattie Cameron went east week
Well I am a poor writer but I hope before long to have the chance to talk to you+ tell you the rest Well Mary says she wants you to write how is Addie+ her man+ baby No more
