My dear Lulu

Today is the great Dominion Day and I am still in England nursing a 'gammy' arm. Isn't it wonderful how time sails on? It is nearly three months since I was hit, & I am still talking about the great things I will do when my arm gets better. Three days ago ago they gave me chloroform again so as to bend my stubborn fingers, wrist, elbow & shoulder. I am as well as ever now, except than it left them a bit sore.

Now, Lulu, I am hoping to get a letter from you soon; no Can. mail has been for nearly two weeks, but I am full of hope. I am afraid I shall have to stop writing now as the nurse orders me outside. I am enclosing some views of this house.

With best love, yours as ever

Tom
