Dear Mother:-

Just a few lines to let you know I am well and getting along fine as yet. We are having awful rainy weather here now and its pretty cold along with the rain and it don't rain very much for to make mud enough for to go to the tops of your boots. There was a couple of P.E.I. boys the came to England the same time as I did have got wounded already. No3204020 Pte. Allan Hamm. D. Corp. 85th Can. Battn B.E.F. France.

I suppose you are at the harvest by this time what kind of grain crops are there this year. Does Perc. every get any word from Russell I've wrote to him several times but never got any answer from him.

Has Lowe's very much work this summer? How is Saul Mulch getting along?

Hoping you are all well as it leaves me. I must ring off for now as I have no news.

Good Bye

Allan
