Dear Mother:

Received your most welcome letter the other day dated June 27th. I don't think you have much room for growl about the weather for it has rained every day for the last three weeks and it don't look any too fine yet. I was up to Edinburgh for six days and had a fine time it certainly is a great place the people are so nice they are just like the Islanders so friendly. It's a good place to live too you can get a good meal for 25 cents and in Eng. you would only get a cup of tea and two or three sandwiches for the same.

What was the matter with Mrs. Tanton. I don't know who the devil would marry Steven unless its some of them squaws that camps down below his place. I get your letters pretty near every week I got the parcel and the money all right.

They seem to be pretty prompt on sending the money when it comes before the last of the month.

I had a letter from El about a week ago also one from Marion Loure. I am sending a little souvenir in this letter.

Well as news is getting scarce I think I will close write soon and give me all the news.
